Today is my hubby's birthday, and I've been reminiscing our life together like it's our anniversary... I'll never forget when I first 'fell' for him. We always joke that it's a 'he said, she said' kind of story because we both have very different perspectives of how 'us' came to fruition. We both agree, however, that if it wasn't for God's intricate design and planning we would've missed out- and missed each other.
Charlie is my strength. He's the one that I look to when I just don't think I can go another step. He's the one who helps me get up and dust myself off before going another round. He's the one who listens to me and waits to hear if I want him to fix or just listen. Charlie offers me encouragement when I need it most. He keeps me grounded, but also lets me soar. He's my best friend, and the person I most want to spend time with. He challenges me to be better, to try new things, and to not be afraid because it's different or new. He holds my hand, walks with me, lets me cry and scream, and loves me unconditionally. He even takes out the garbage and does dishes!
Happy Birthday, Eloise (aka Charlie)!! I love you...and am grateful for another year of YOU being in my life!

Happy Birthday to MY best gift!
