Defeated...NOT me!

Okay, I'm taking off the mask- the happy princess face- and letting down my guard. As much as I wish I could keep the plastic smile and pretend everything's okay- it's not right now, and I'm okay admitting that here. You see, I listened to the lies. What I've been blocking out so vehemently... Well, I slipped, today, and let the enemy's whispers drown out the truth. And though I want to beat myself up about it, I'm claiming God's promises and His truths to silence the whispers. A work in progress, yes...but defeated by the enemy...NO!
